Ernst Strecker founds a wholesale company in Stuttgart to supply florists with the products they need. In just two decades, the company grows into a well-established business throughout Württemberg and Baden.
Inflationary years

Inflationary years
Following the death of the company’s founder, his two sons continued the business. Despite the challenging years of inflation, the company maintained steady growth and was already held in high regard for its leading range of services.
The reconstruction
1944
The reconstruction
The Second World War had devastating consequences for the company. The building in Stuttgart was destroyed, and the family continued to run the business from their home. In 1950, reconstruction of the company premises began on the original site.
Hans Strecker
1965
Hans Strecker
Hans Strecker, grandson of the company founder, takes over the management of the company and soon plans to build a new headquarters with good transport links and a 500 m2 sales area for customers.
Magstadt
1973
Magstadt
The new company headquarters is established in Magstadt. Together with the branch in Stuttgart, the business soon forms a powerful duo. Due to the strong response, the Magstadt premises have to be expanded several times.
Renningen
1988
Renningen
A 15,000  m2 site in the Malmsheim district of Renningen is secured for the construction of the new facility. Modern sales areas, warehouses, and office spaces, together with significantly expanded services, will ensure enhanced efficiency.

New location PFSW
New location PFSW Together with partner companies, the Pflanzenforum Süd-West (South-West Plant Forum) is being launched in Deißlingen/Neckar near Villingen-Schwenningen.
100 years strecker

As the 100th anniversary impressively demonstrates, the path taken by Hans Strecker proved to be the right one, enabling him to hand over the management of the company entirely to his two sons, Armin and Bernd Strecker, in 1993.

Ernst Strecker GmbH & Co. KG is investing over three million euros in its fifth construction phase in Renningen. For strecker, this building symbolises the company's growth trajectory.
